PET Scan

A positron emission tomography (PET) scan is an imaging test that allows your physician to detect abnormalities in your Body. The scan uses a special dye containing radioactive medicine. These medicines are either swallowed, inhaled, or injected into a vein in your arm depending on which part of the body is being examined. 

PET Brain Scan

A PET Scan of the brain is tested to determine the functions of the brain. radioactive tracers are Injected in blood. These tracers are attached to glucose which is the main fuel of the brain. Active areas of the brain will use the tracer much faster than the inactive areas. This is visible in PET scanner.

Gamma Camera

The gamma camera is an imaging technique used to carry out functional scans of the brain, thyroid, lungs, liver, gallbladder, kidneys and skeleton. Gamma cameras image the radiation from a tracer introduced into the patient's body.

Myocardial Perfusion Scan

Myocardial Perfusion Scan is a Nuclear Imaging test done to see how blood flows through the heart muscle. This test may be done after a heart attack to detect how your heart is functioning. 

DTPA Scan

DTPA renal scanning evaluates relative kidney function.  To assess the relative function, blood flow and determine any possible obstruction to the kidneys. Before starting a scan a kidney tracer is injected in your vein. DTPA Scan is started immediately after the Injection. DTPA Scan helps evaluate Kidney Function.
